DERA’s NO2 Air Quality Monitor API measures nitric oxide (NO) (in parts per billion) in the ambient air using cutting-edge technology developed by DERA’s National Air Pollution Surveillance program. NO is one of the indicators used by EPA to determine overall air quality and pollution levels in different locations throughout the United States.  Combined with temperature data, NO2 AQI data can be used by developers to create applications that track and display real-time air quality information to the public (among other uses).
This API will retrieve the current, historical, and forecasted Air Quality Index of any location in the world.

To make use of it, you must first:
1- Go to Air Quality Index API and simply click on the button “Subscribe for free” to start using the API.
